We received a commendation at the Energy ‘Buying & Supplying’ Excellence Awards in Mayfair Hotel, London for the Independent Energy Consultant category.
'Highly Commended' for Environmental Leadership Award UK Finals, Institute of Directors
We were delighted that in 2011 the IoD awarded Andrew Padmore a 'highly commended' recognition at the UK Director of the Year for Environmental Leadership award.
Director of the Year (South Wales), Institute of Directors
In 2010, the Institute of Directors (Wales) made Andrew Padmore – then managing director – their Director of the Year in South Wales.
Responsible Company of the Year, Business in the Community
In 2010, Business in the Community (BITC) named UES the Responsible Company of the Year in Wales for our “commitment to responsible business practice and our ability to deliver positive impacts across the environment, community, marketplace and workplace”. We were also shortlisted for the same award in 2011.
Business of the Year, Caerphilly Business Forum
In 2009, UES was named Business of the Year (up to 25 employees) by our local business network, Caerphilly Business Forum, in which we are active members.
