Our history
Utility & Environmental Solutions Limited (or UES) was set up in 2003 by Andrew Padmore.
When Andrew Diplock joined him a few months later it soon became apparent that they shared a vision of carving a niche to help businesses and other organisations save money through more efficient procurement and management of their utilities.
With a 50:50 equity share in the business, the two entrepreneurs quickly set about growing and developing UES along strong ethical and entrepreneurial lines.
The company was rebranded UES Energy in September 2011 to reflect a new focus and the direction in which the business had developed.
UES Energy is a Welsh company, based in Ystrad Mynach, near Caerphilly and providing services to businesses and other organisations all over the UK.
Clients range in size from small businesses to large corporations spread over thousands of locations. They come from many different sectors, including manufacturing, food, education, service and leisure. Even some of the major players in the utility sector are themselves UES Energy clients.
Today Andrew Diplock is managing director. Andrew Padmore focusses on a consumer-oriented renewable energy business called egnida and remains a director of UES Energy.
After several years of strong growth, UES Energy is firmly established, with an excellent reputation and has won many awards and accolades along the way.
